Model Context Protocol & REST API Terms

Terms of Service for MCP & AI Agents

Rules, acceptable use policies, and responsibilities governing programmatic tool invocations and AI agent integrations with aidministratie.

Last updated: October 23, 2026 // Effective immediately

gavel 1. Scope & Acceptance

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (individually or on behalf of the entity you represent, the "Customer") and Bram Vanzieleghem (trading as aidministratie.be and ITeratief), registered in Belgium under company number BE 0671.637.106, with registered address at Boezingestraat 61, 8920 Langemark-Poelkapelle, Belgium ("aidministratie", "we", "us", or "our").

By obtaining an API token, registering an MCP endpoint in an AI platform (including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Mistral Le Chat, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google Antigravity, Cursor, or proprietary tooling), or calling our Streamable HTTP/SSE endpoints, you unconditionally accept and agree to comply with these Terms.

Autonomous Actions & Customer Responsibility

warning Mandatory Human-in-the-Loop Principle

AI agents and large language models (LLMs) operate probabilistically and may occasionally generate inaccurate predictions, false classifications, or unintended parameter payloads ("hallucinations"). aidministratie provides deterministic verification tools and staging queues designed to mitigate these errors.

  • Staging Review: Where workflows produce financial mutations, legal document creation, or external emails, Customer agrees to utilize aidministratie's pending task queue (haal_wachtende_taken_op / beoordeel_wachtende_taak) or maintain adequate human review before finalizing critical operations.
  • Ultimate Accountability: The Customer is solely responsible for verifying the correctness, legal compliance, and appropriateness of any administrative outcome executed by agents operating under the Customer's API keys.
key 3. API Credentials & Security

API Key Governance & Access Controls

  • Credential Confidentiality: API keys (vlw_live_...) grant programmatic access to your tenant's Virtual File System (VFS) and workflow states. You are strictly responsible for safeguarding your keys. Never embed secret keys in public client-side JavaScript or uncommitted public repositories.
  • Compromise Notification: If you suspect an API key has been leaked or compromised, you must immediately cycle the key via the gateway portal or contact aidministratie support to request immediate revocation.
  • Abuse Prevention: Automated vulnerability scanners, brute-force discovery probes, and fuzzing attacks targeting our endpoints are strictly prohibited and will trigger immediate IP and subnet bans.
policy 4. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted & Prohibited Invocations

You agree not to use aidministratie MCP tools or APIs to:

  • Process, store, or transmit illegal content, fraudulent financial data, or materials infringing third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to bypass multi-tenant isolation, tamper with cryptographic KMS envelopes, or access data belonging to other tenants.
  • Generate unsolicited commercial bulk messaging (spam) or automated phishing campaigns.
  • Conduct stress testing, denial-of-service simulations, or performance benchmarks without prior written authorization from aidministratie.
copyright 5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Data Ownership & Platform Rights

  • Customer Retains 100% Data Ownership: As between the parties, Customer retains all right, title, and interest in and to all data, files, records, and documents uploaded or piped through the MCP server.
  • aidministratie IP: All rights, title, and interest in and to the aidministratie platform, MCP protocol abstractions, tool definitions, KMS architecture, backend microservices, and trademarks remain the exclusive property of Bram Vanzieleghem / ITeratief.
speed 6. Availability & Disclaimer of Warranties

Service Levels & Disclaimers

aidministratie provides its MCP gateway and developer preview endpoints on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and low latency across our European data centers:

  • We do not warrant that tool invocations will be completely error-free or uninterrupted.
  • We are not liable for outages, rate limits, or degradation caused by upstream third-party AI frontier model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft, Mistral).
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated via status channels whenever reasonably practicable.
account_balance 7. Limitation of Liability

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Belgian law, in no event shall aidministratie or Bram Vanzieleghem be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, business interruptions, data corruption, or erroneous agent decisions), arising out of or in connection with the use of the MCP gateway.

Our aggregate liability for any direct claims arising under these Terms shall be strictly capped at the total amount paid by Customer to aidministratie for the specific service during the twelve (12) months preceding the incident.

balance 8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Belgian Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the judicial district of West Flanders (Enterprise Court of Ghent, division Ypres / Kortrijk, Belgium).
